Sterndrive I/O actuators for boats are electromechanical autopilot actuators that work with many popular boats with MerCruiser and Volvo Penta sterndrive engines. The actuators operate the steering valve in the same way as the boat's steering cable. When the autopilot is disengaged, a clutch disengages the I/O actuator, allowing manual steering of the boat.

Compatible with 12-volt power systems, these actuators work with the Evolution ACU-200 actuator control unit.
